Sonja had to say...We are relaxed, eclectic homeschoolers who have kept our boys home for academic reasons. I would appreciate for myself any books on teaching gifted and talented students, as I am the one challenged to keep up with them! Right now we are into puzzles, mazes, reasoning-math problems and chemistry and science, at the middle school level. I have cuissenaire rods and lots of other math manipulatives for the younger one, but could use more ideas/books/games on how to use them more fully in the classroom. I am interested in obtaining consumables like Highlights Puzzlemania books, or maybe their Mathmania books, too. Anything that makes learning look like a game is very popular in our house. |
